The website of "NQ Global Startup Gateway", which will be implemented as "Nakanoshima Cross Global Startup Creation and Globalization Promotion Project" sponsored by the Osaka Prefectural Government, has been pre-launched.
The NQ Global Startup Gateway (Nakanoshima Qross Global Startup Creation & Hub Promotion Initiative), hosted by Osaka Prefecture, is a life-science startup aggregation and acceleration program aimed at establishing a globally competitive startup ecosystem and creating startups that can succeed worldwide. To firmly secure Nakanoshima Qross as an industrial hub for next-generation healthcare—beginning with regenerative medicine—the program strengthens the functions that attract and develop life-science startups, the driving force behind this goal.
For life-science startups, it is essential to plan for international expansion from the very outset of commercialization. This requires mentoring and funding from globally active accelerators, investors, and corporates to adapt their businesses to global markets. Accordingly, the initiative will offer Nakanoshima Qross–original development programs designed to cultivate globally active startups, while consolidating and enhancing the presence and capabilities of startup support organizations at Nakanoshima Qross.
